Right-to-Know Requests

Right-to-Know Website Disclaimer

Effective September 1, 2025, the Fayette County Recorder of Deeds Office began publishing Right-to-Know (RTK) requests and responses on this website as part of a uniform transparency initiative.

Posting of RTK materials on this website is not part of the county’s Right-to-Know intake portal, submission process, or formal response system. The appearance of materials on this page does not constitute a determination, adjudication, legal analysis, or compiled response under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law (65 P.S. § 67.101 et seq.).

Information published may include the requester’s name, the date and subject of the request, and the agency’s response or determination. Personal contact information and any legally protected, confidential, or exempt information are redacted prior to posting, consistent with applicable law.

Submission of a Right-to-Know request on or after September 1, 2025 constitutes acknowledgment of this publicly disclosed practice. The Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law does not provide a mechanism for individual requesters to opt out of the Recorder of Deeds Office’s uniformly applied transparency policy.

If any information displayed on this page is believed to be inaccurate or improperly disclosed, the Recorder of Deeds Office should be notified so the matter may be reviewed for administrative accuracy.
