Today at the Fayette County Recorder of Deeds Office:
• We continued our modernization efforts by securely transferring record backups to our server systems.
• We assisted 3 residents with deed research for family history and genealogy.
• The Recorder of Deeds met directly with 2 constituents regarding matters involving our office.
• Our staff has now been working upstairs for a full week, allowing us to continue assisting constituents while modernization work moves forward.
• We assisted a veteran with a records matter.
• We helped a constituent locate historical residency documentation.
• We processed and recorded property documents and continued the daily work of preserving Fayette County’s land records.
Our goal is simple: modernize the office while continuing to provide residents with reliable, accessible service every day.
