Document Library

The following documents are provided for public review to explain the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process conducted by the Fayette County Recorder of Deeds Office prior to system deployment. Documents are published in redacted form where appropriate to protect personal identifiers and internal operational details that are not necessary for public understanding.

New and Enhanced Services Covered by UAT

User Acceptance Testing also included validation of new and enhanced services being introduced as part of this system implementation. These services are designed to improve security, efficiency, and public access to records.

Testing covered, at a high level:

These services were tested to confirm they function as intended and support the Recorder of Deeds Office’s day-to-day operations before being made available in a live production environment.

Phased Testing and Ongoing Validation

This User Acceptance Testing represents the first phase of testing for the new and enhanced services being implemented by the Recorder of Deeds Office. Additional UAT cycles may be conducted prior to full implementation to further validate functionality, incorporate refinements, and ensure readiness for production use.

Conducting multiple rounds of testing is a standard practice for complex system implementations and reflects a deliberate approach to accuracy, security, and reliability rather than a rushed deployment.
