On September 17, 1787, the United States Constitution was signed in Philadelphia, creating the framework of government that continues to guide our nation today.
For the Fayette County Recorder of Deeds Office, Constitution Day is also a reminder of the importance of public records, transparent government, and preserving the documents that tell the story of our community.
